The Former Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber al-Thani at an interview aired by Qatari TV has put on the table 4 main sponsors of Syrian armed opposition and radical Islamic groups.
In an interview bin Jaber al-Thani revealed that his country, alongside with Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United States, began shipping weapons to jihadists from the very moment events “first started” in 2011. He has also intimated that the main aim of war customers’ was to overthrow the Assad regime.
Recently, “The Intercept” has published the leaked NSA bombshell report which provides astoundingly clear proof that the relationship between the anti-Assad insurgents and foreign intelligence was even more direct, and existed earlier in time than most analyst and mainstream pundits led the public to believe.
This announcement was a sort of response to recent Saudi Arabia and USA’s claims that Qatar financed ISIS (Daesh, Islamic State) and HTS (Hayat Tharir al Sham). The former Qatari Prime Minister also noticed that initially Washington, Riyadh, Doha and Ankara lived in each other’s pockets and coordinated all the actions.
