Syrian Refugees Keep Returning Home

More than 100 families returned to their villages and towns in Western Qalamoun area in Damascus Province over the weekend after their areas were freed of terrorists and security and stability were restored.

Western Qalamoun is a stretch of territory along the border between Lebanon and Syria, recalled SANA news agency.

Some 45 Syrian families and 64 Lebanese families that had been living together for decades returned to the town of al-Tafil and other villages after they had been forced to abandon their homes by terrorist organizations, SANA reported.

The returning families expressed their gratitude to the Syrian Arab Army and the Lebanese resistance for the sacrifices they made to liberate their towns.
